Therefore, our team started off by creating a decontamination unit and an exclusion zone; restricting public access to the removal area. This is a health and safety precaution that we use to ensure 100% compliance with Worksafe requirements.

In accordance with our health and safety procedures, our team then sprayed the exclusion zone with water to minimise the asbestos fibres in the air.  Following this, our team of removalists then conducted a final inspection of the property. This was to ensure that all of the contaminated areas were targeted.

After our team sprayed down the contaminated area with water, the asbestos sheeting in the roof was then removed and placed into asbestos disposal bags. This was then disposed of into asbestos approved landfill.

Post Asbestos Removal- Cleaning Phase

Our team then began the cleaning process. This included vacuuming the area to remove any debris, which may have been left behind in contaminated areas.

At  A&B Asrem, we use a HEPA vacuum, which effectively cleans the area. After this, our independent cleaning hygienist conducted a final inspection to ensure the property was cleaned effectively and was 100% asbestos-free.
